How to create an account and start your application

Before you can apply for support through FundingConnect, you'll need a free account. This article walks you through creating one and starting your first application.


Step 1

Click the link to the application. This might be:

  • A link on your local authority or charity's website
  • A link in a text message
  • A link in an email

You'll be taken to the start page for that scheme.

Step 2

Click Start application.

Step 3

If you don't have an account yet, click Create an account.

💡 Tip: If you've applied through FundingConnect before, you can log in with your existing details — you don't need a new account for each scheme.

Step 4

Enter your:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number

Step 5

Read the terms and conditions, tick to agree, and click Register.

Step 6

You'll then be asked to set up two-factor authentication. This is mandatory and helps keep your account secure. See How to set up two-factor authentication for full instructions.


I already have an account

If you've used FundingConnect before:

  1. Click Log in instead of Create an account
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email inbox for a login link
  4. Click the link to be signed in

You can login at any time to view your applications via app.fundingconnect.com.
