Great news — your application has been approved! This article walks you through claiming your award.
Step 1
Log in to your account at app.fundingconnect.com.
You'll see your approved application at the top of your dashboard with a message reading: Approved — Great news! Your application has been approved. Please choose your award.
Step 2
Click the green Choose award button.
Step 3
You'll see the award you've been given — for example, £140 voucher — and the options for how to claim it.
The organisation running the scheme decides what award types are offered. You might see:
- Retail vouchers (e.g. supermarket)
- Energy
- Bank transfer
- Appliances
- Something else
Step 4
If you're claiming vouchers, choose your retailer.
You can either:
- Put the full value on one retailer (e.g. all £140 with Asda), or
- Split the value across multiple retailers (e.g. £70 with Asda and £70 with Morrisons)
Step 5
Click Add to basket. If you've chosen to split your award, add the second retailer to your basket too.
Step 6
When you're happy with your choices, click Check out.
⚠️ Important: Once you complete the checkout, you cannot come back and change your choice. If you're unsure whether you want one retailer or two, take your time before checking out.
Step 7
You'll be shown your voucher(s). You can:
- Save them to your phone
- Print them
- Come back to view them anytime by logging into your account
Where can I view my award later?
You can log back into app.fundingconnect.com at any time. Your approved awards will be visible on your dashboard.
How do I use my voucher in store?
This depends on which retailer you chose. For most supermarket vouchers, you'll be shown a barcode or code that you present at the till.
Each retailer has its own way of using and checking the balance. For specific guidance, please see our retailer help articles or contact the retailer directly.
